About Curve

Built by an AP grad, for AP students who deserve better tools.

Curve started in 2024 with one frustration: every AP score calculator on the internet was buried under three pop-ups, a signup wall, and an ad that played sound. The math wasn’t even right.

What we make

Three things, in roughly this order of how often students use them: the score calculator, unit-by-unit Progress Check walkthroughs for the 19 most-tested AP subjects, and concept explainers for the topics that span subjects (maps, statistics, rhetorical analysis).

Everything is free. Everything works without an account. The site is supported by tasteful ads in clearly-marked zones, and a handful of affiliate links to AP prep books we’d actually recommend. The calculator is always ad-free above the fold — your task comes first.

Who writes the guides

Curve is founded and edited by Mahmudul Hasan. Every page is written, reviewed, and refreshed by him — no ghostwriters, no anonymous editorial team, no fabricated reviewer credits.

We list real contributors on each guide’s footer. We don’t fake author names, fabricate credentials, or invent “reviewed by Dr. X” credits to satisfy an SEO template — that’s exhausting and dishonest, and it doesn’t help you learn anything.

What we don’t do

  • Publish raw AP Classroom answer keys. Our walkthroughs explain reasoning so you can do the work yourself.
  • Sell your data. There’s no account to sell.
  • Run pop-ups, exit-intent modals, or auto-playing video ads.
  • Pretend to be the College Board. We’re not affiliated, never have been.
